Joshua Fox Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 5, 2025.
Joshua Raymond Fox Date of Birth June 24, 1987, Entered into Eternal Life March 31, 2025.

Joshua was tragically killed in an e-bike accident. Joshua was born in Royal Oak, Michigan to his mother Dana Marie Fox-Chobot (Accorsi) of Davisburg, Michigan and his father Tobin M. Fox.

Joshua is survived by his mother, stepfather (Raymond Chobot), his older brother Jeremiah Fox (Jennifer) of Davisburg, Michigan and his younger sister Joelle Talerico (Davisburg, Michigan). Also survived by his stepsisters Jennifer Plesz (Phillip) of Rochester Hills, Michigan and Kendra Nordstom (Michael) of Northville, Michigan.

Joshua is also survived by his nephews and nieces; Dallas and Lily Talerico, Ethan and Judith Fox, Victoria and Gabriel Plesz and Olivia Nordstrom.

He is also survived by his beloved Parrot, Mugsy.

Joshua is also survived by his Uncle Mike Accorsi (Karen) of Warren, Michigan. Along with his cousins; Courtney, Jonathan and Holly Accorsi. Joshua is also survived by his Uncle Marc Accorsi of Royal Oak, Michigan and his Uncle Jeff Accorsi (Carolyn) of Caseville, Michigan.

Joshua is also survived by his father, Tobin Fox and many Fox family Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Joshua is preceded in death by his loving grand-parents Ralph and Lee Accorsi of Sterling Heights, Michigan.

Joshua graduated from Brandon High School in 2005 and has maintained deep and long-lasting friendships with Danny Banister, Chris Booth and Mike Walls, just to name a few.

Joshua attended Northwood University working towards a Banking/Finance degree, and Northwood is where he met is roommate and now dear friend Andrew Charbonneau.

Joshua has lived in Fort Collins, Colorado since the fall of 2014 and loved being there. The mountains, rivers, forests and love of friends kept him there.

Joshua worked at Tynan Nissan of Fort Collins as a parts advisor for 10 years and was the "go-to" person in the Parts Department. He was proud of his work and what he contributed to the success of that Dealership.

As a youngster, Joshua mastered the piano at a very young age, taught himself to read at the age of 4 and at the age of 12 became the youngest Master Gardener to be Certified at that time.

In the words of his friend Andrew, "When Josh really like something he would excel at it." And no truer words would be spoken.

Joshua was a kid at heart and loved playing video games, Magic and Pokémon. He loved collecting Legos, Hot Wheels and coins. He was a successful streamer, and his live streams where well attended, and he made them fun to watch.

Joshua loved music, playing the guitar, going to concerts and supporting local bands.

Joshua loved gardening, cooking and cooking for others. He loved camping and campfires, hiking and his Jeep Gladiator.

He had mad writing skills and was always ready for a debate or thoughtful conversation.

He hated greed and greedy people, wanted nothing more than kindness in the world and really could care less about possessions. He had a dream of someday just living simply on a farm.

Joshua loved animals, babies and children and they all loved him back.

Joshua loved deeply. He would give you the shirt off his back (or anything else you needed), without reservation. His smile was infectious and lit up a room.

Joshua, (like his Savior, Jesus) loved all people and was a giver to all. Because this was who he is and was at his core he decided to be an organ donor. So, in death, as in life, Joshua gave. He gave his heart to one and each kidney to two others. Three lives saved because of Joshua's sacrifice.

Thanks be to God.

Last Words written by Joshua on 2/21/2025 in his Recovery Journal:

"Shameless Belief just might work.

I am energy - save me

I am eternal - save me

I am forgiven

save me."

Dana and Ray,
I am so very sorry to hear about your tragic "out of order" loss. I remember fondly our time together in the LLM family systems class. I will be holding you both in the light as this new chapter in your life unfolds, grateful for the gifts of faith and resilience you have long had, and upon which you will be drawing. May the love of family and friends bring you comfort; may the love of God, in due time, bring you peace.
