In his spare time he enjoyed family gatherings, camping, playing darts and pool, anything automotive, Nascar and was a big fan of Johnny Cash music.
He was a member of Life Church of Sioux City.
Joshua died early Thursday at Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison, Iowa. At the time of his death he had been blessed with 22 years, 5 months and 23 days.
Those remaining to cherish his memory include his mother and father: Lisa Potter and Phillip Totten of Denison, Iowa; grandparents: Sandra R. Fry of Bronson, Iowa, Loyd Dean Fry of Oelwein, Iowa, and Ron and Darlene Totten of Denison, Iowa; two brothers: Michel Potter and Cody Totten of Denison, Iowa; three sisters: Jennifer Potter, Hayley Totten and Kayla Potter of Denison, Iowa, many uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 5, 2011, at Pfannebecker Funeral Home in Denison, Iowa, with Pastor Stephen Williams officiating. Music for the service included recorded selections of Johnny Cash music. Pallbearers included Michel Potter, Jim Fry, David Fry, Tim Fry, Andy Fry and Frank Hiner. Interment was at Oakland Cemetery, Denison, Iowa. Following the interment the family invited everyone to join them at the Denison Senior Center for lunch and fellowship. The Pfannebecker Funeral Home, www.pfannebecker.com, Denison, Iowa, was in charge of arrangements.
