Josh always made Christmas special. Us at the PD couldn´t wait for him to put the Christmas lights up at his house so we could drive by and look at them. He took so much pride in that. The last Christmas that Josh and I worked together that night, a young mother came up to the police department, looking for some information on where she may could get some food for her and her two children. I gave her what information I have and then Josh went up to Fred´s And bought a grocery full of buggies and a few Christmas presents for her kids when I called her to come back up to the PD. She was so surprised and she just cried. She was so very grateful for Josh that night. Josh was a wonderful friend to me and I miss him dearly. I can only imagine the Christmas lights that he has shining up there in heaven.

I met Josh for the 1st time at a time I was in need. He was very kind and helpful. I only had the opportunity to talk with him a couple more times after that. My prayers and thoughts are with him and his family. Thanks for helping me at my time of distress, GOD bless.

Mr. Josh you will be missed by many! I remember always having you get shortbread for your sidekick! I remember when you would tell me she could only have one cookie because she didn´t need to get too many sweets! I miss all the times you would come to school and come into the classrooms. Your lights will be missed a little more now around Christmas time because it was weird not having them after y´all moved but will think about them a little more now!

At a loss for words, honestly. Back in school, we weren't bff's or super close. But we both moved across the Bay. He was an officer here in town & our jobs brought us together on a fairly consistent basis. He was just one of the good ones.
Hated when he left town but consoled by thought he was living his best life down there.
I don't think he knew how many others appreciated ALL the things.

My heart is aching and I just don't understand this kind of loss. Josh was a neighbor of mine for about 8 years. He was always kind and caring to me. My prayers go out to Mandy, Aric and the rest of Josh's family and friends. I pray God wraps His loving arms around them as they go through this very difficult time, and brings them peace and comfort. Rest in Peace Josh.

I am so saddened to hear that Josh has passed away. He was a wonderful friend. We worked together for many years, and he certainly knew how to make an eight hour shift fly by fast! It´s hard to think of him without hearing the words I´ll be 1039 or I´ll be 1015 Rest easy Josh and I will see you again one day.
