PEKIN ~ Joshua Thompson, 27 of Pekin, passed away at 4:31 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born August 31, 1989 in Pekin.
Surviving are his parents Paul A. and Tammy (Kinsey) Taylor. He is also survived by his biological father, Bill Thompson; grandparents, Karen Hudson of Pekin, Carol Lister of Marquette Heights and Ronald Kinsey of Jacksonville, Florida. Joshua is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Dave Hudson, Phillip Taylor, and Al Lister.
Joshua was self-employed working for Hollywood Cleaning.
He loved anything adventurous, like dirt bikes, four wheeling, and anything extreme. He also enjoyed fishing while living in Florida. Joshua had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. He cherished his cat, Kiki, and his dog, Audi.
His memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor John Vaughn will be officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior. Cremation will be accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
