Before you were born, I knew you. In your mother's womb, you danced with delight as we awaited your birth. All pink, all hugs and kisses, singing we celebrated you. A little girl tap dancing and performing; a teenage drama queen; a young woman of depth and perception, we loved you. A gift to the earth, a gift to the stars, a gift to eternity, we await with sorrow and hope that one day we will see you again!

I am sorry to say that at the time of her death I wasn't very close to my sister, but there was a time that I considered her my best friend the kind of person you trust with your life. I just wanted it to be known that Joy was always a very loving and caring person, but those who knew her don't have to be told that.Anyone that had the opportunity to know Joy was all the better for it.She will be missed more than she ever could have known

I never met Joy in person but from our online correspondence I knew her as a kind and loving person. She will be missed. She is loved by so many, including those of us who never got to meet her face to face.

She talks of the present- and it is written:

"You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment..." She is no longer here and yet our comfort comes by knowing that to live in hearts we leave behind is not to die. An old Jewish proverb tells us "A mother understands what a child does not say..." and time will bring us together once again. Love, Peace, Joy and Soul!

Joy will be missed by many as she brought such "joy" to others with her knowing smile, compassionate touch, and unending concern for others.

Joy was one of my closest friends at MTI and knowing she was in class was a great comfort to me. She loved life and always had a positive outlook. She gave our class a true richness with her outspoken honesty, witty humor, and compassionate understanding. She touched many lives through her bodywork and through her kindness. She will remain in our hearts for always. She loved you dearly, Judy.
