George Jett Obituary
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at the Antioch Church of the Brethren by Rev. George Bowers. Burial will be private.
Mr. Jett is survived by his wife of 33 years, Linda Barton Jett of Woodstock; two sons, Walt Jett and his wife Sheryl of Mount Jackson and Jeff Jett and his wife Janet of Strasburg; two daughters, Lorraine Jett and her companion Elmer Michael of Singers Glen and Susan Arnold of Woodstock; two sisters, Kitty Jett of Fort Valley and Frances Johnson of Stephens City; a brother, Jesse Jett of Woodstock; seven grandchildren, Jamie Jett-Frye, Jeffrey Jett, II, Jaclynn Jett Smith, Michael Jett, Steven Jett, Daniel Arnold, and Lindsay Arnold; three great-grandchildren, Kamden Ludwig, Easton Frye, and Madynn Frye; and the mother of his four children, Mary Ellen Pryor of Singers Glen.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Antioch Church of the Brethren.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Building Fund of Antioch Church of the Brethren, 23502 Senedo Road, Woodstock, Virginia 22664.
