I was very sad to hear of Mrs. Brashear's passing. She was my second grade teacher at Huntington Elementary and I have very fond memories of her. She was a kind person and she made learning interesting. Please be comforted in knowing that she was a positve influence in the lives of her students.

Joyce was a special friend I taught with in Huntington. We enjoyed many years together.

Our hearts & our prayers are with all the family. Thought you might like to know I work with a lady with whom Joyce taught in 2nd grade at Chireno. She impacted many lives.

I did not know your mother personally. However, I feel that because of being an educator, we did have something in common. I am thinking of you at this time. Everything will be okay. I am thankful that she had you and I have been blessed to have you as a friend and co-worker. Take care and I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
