Mrs. Joyce I miss you so much. I often look at my phone to call you only to know you are not here with me but you are here spiritually. I would like for you to know that DeShion has grown into a fine young man, Maurice has grown into a fine young man and Kiane' has grown into a beautiful young lady. They always talk about how much they miss you.
I know that you are in heaven but I just want to hear your voice. You would be so happy my friend joined church finally...lol

Hey Ma. Yeah it's me again. I know it's been a while since I've been on this page. I've been doing pretty good. I know you would be proud of me. You were always proud of my small accomplishments. They seemed equally important to you. I'd blush & u'd say "that's so good baby...u know mama is so proud of u" then I'd smile the biggest smile ever...lol. I wish you could see your grands & great grands. They are getting big & are very bright. Jay is doing great in football. Avi is a lil brainiac. Ny is still as funny as ever. She likes visiting me for my sausage & pancakes. Shamiya, your twin (lol) is some kinda wonderful. Semaj, he loves to sing & dance. Shamar likes being on the computer. Semia, she is off the chain! She doesn't like Chantell. Lol! Speaking of Chantell, she is doing well in school & I haven't threatened to knock her into next week recently. Lol! Brad is loving his job & has been working out & losing some weight. Shawn is doing double duty. They are both incredible men & fathers which they attribute a lot to you & daddy. Y'all gave them a solid foundation. Ma I miss you every single day, all day & night. I see something & wish you were here to share it with us. You used to always say "you gonna miss me when I'm gone" but who knew how true that would be. In any event, I'm looking forward to celebrating your birthday. Sometime that week I'm going to Red Lobster & ordering the Captain's Platter you loved so much. Lol! I'm gonna get daddy to pay for it...lol!!! Sssh...don't tell him...lol! I'm gonna holla atcha later. I love you Ma!

Hey Ma! It was a year ago this month that you were diagnosed with cancer. You came home from the hospital on the day we were suppose to go to the jazz festival. I remember me & Nita were debating on if we should go or not. I can clearly hear you saying 'yall go head...ma gone be alright'. We went but were calling every few hours. So here we are a year later & you are now in heaven. I wanted to call you last night & tell you how great Natalie Cole was. You would have enjoyed it! Love & miss you eh..ver...re...day!

Hey Ma! Yeah I'm here again. Miss you so much. Everything makes me think about you. You have no idea how hard this is. I feel like a clown. Painting this smile on every day. By the time the tears form I stop & remember where you are...with our heavenly father. That makes me feel better. You gotta be happier (and healthier) in heaven. Well I guess I better go. I love & miss you so much!!!

Hey Ma! I can hear u saying 'hey Tray'. Just thinking about you. I have missed talking to you. So many things I've wanted to say but no one to say them to. I'm glad God has provided the comfort I've needed since you've been gone. Had it not been for you (and daddy) I would not be who I am in Christ. Thanks for showing me the way to an eternal life. If I can be a fraction of the woman you were then I know I will be 'that' Important Person...(smiling). Love and miss you ma! And by the way...I'm doing ok...now go somewhere & sit down lol

My heart was so saddened when I heard the news that Ms. Joyce had gone on to be with the Lord. She is suffering no more. I really enjoyed knowing her as we worked together in Henrico for a few years. She was such a kind spirit. I will miss her and remember her laugh. My prayers are with the family. God bless you and keep you.

There is a reason for every pain we must bear for every burden that we carry for all the hurt, grief and teardrops that are shed there is a reason. But if we trust God as we should and ask him to comfort and sustain us in the loss of one so dear it will work out for our good God knows the reason.

To the Bridgeforth & Douglas family my heart is very sadden in the loss of Ma B. I have known her every since I was a little girl going to Rising Mount Zion. Ma B became a neighbor, a baby sitter, a family memember and most of all a person that you can trust to know that she loved the lord. I can remember alot of sundays that my mom had to work and you made sure that we was in sunday school and church along with Shawn and Brad, and dared us to say we wasn't going. I am going to miss seeing your beautiful smile. You always made me feel at home and apart of your family. I light my candle because I always remember you had candles in your window. If there is anything that I can remember that you taught me is god is good and never let anyone silence your praise. If you want to clap, clap, if you want to shout, shout but if the person in the front or back doesn't like it tell them to move because god is too good for me to be quiet. I know you shouting all over heaven ma B. I love you and I will miss you dearly, you were an inspiration to me. Thank you, I pray that god heals and protect your family. I pray that you all find strength and comfort in each other and god in your time of need. God bless you all.

To the Bridgeforth and Douglas families,
I was deeply moved when I heard of Sis Bridgeforth's transition, you never ever forget LOVE, Sis Bridgeford stood on the word of God, she was truly a one of a kind "Prayer Warrior". I'll never forget her. When she would pray herself into the spirit, you felt it and you know that she was sincere. Rest now Sis Bridgeforth, another Angel has joined God's great glory!

The Bridgeforth family, words can't express how I feel about each and every one of you. Ma Joyce looked out for us as we were one of her own and I thank you for that. Ma made sure that when my mom worked we went to sunday school and church, try telling her you ain't going is not really going to work. You taught me a lot by just watching you. You taught me to not silence my praise. You always said that you were going to shout and praise god and if people in church didn't like your praise then they just had to move. You showed me and my family that we didn't have to be blood related but some how we were. I will never ever forget what you did for us and how you watch out and protected us whether it was down the street or across the aisle at Rising Mount Zion. You was and always will be special to me and I know God had his arms wide open for you. I love you and I miss you and I know you are shouting in heaven. May god be with the family in your time of need. Love you all dearly God bless

A mighty Woman of God. Yes she was.
Whenever you needed prayer she was there.
She prayed her entire family into the church. Now she can rest in Peace and wait for you all to arrive in Heaven.
She was a kind gentle woman of God. FTHCMR will never be the same. Her presence will be greatly missed.
No more sickness, no more pain she is shouting in the Heavens Jesus name.
Peace, Blessing and Comfort I wish to the family

We deeply share your loss, The From The Heart Ministries of Richmond family. As many of us have experienced a loss of a family member, we greive with you and share your joy in her eternal glory with God. We knew her as a woman of holiness and laughter when she was at her best. We remember her as a great cook providing food for the family of God. We remember her prayers going up to the Father in our behalf, so weep if you may, but know that God the Creator has her close and without pain. Only see her without pain and whole. Sister Lois T. To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Dearest Tracy, Shawn, Brad, Lisa and family members. I am so sorry for your loss. I know there are no words I can say to give you comfort at this difficult time, but I do want you to know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I pray that each of you finds peace in the precious memories you had with your beautiful mother/grandmother. The picture of your mother posted online has the most beautiful smile, like that of an angel and in each of you her beauty and love will always live on. I pray that God gives each of you the comfort, support and love you need to help you carry on. God bless and I love you all.
