Joyce Ann Davis

July 1, 1952 - September 18, 2024

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our cherished grandmother, Joyce Ann Davis, on September 18, 2024. She left this world surrounded by her devoted family, embraced by their love.

Born on July 1, 1952, in Norwalk, Connecticut, Joyce was the beloved daughter of Agnes Shovan and Russell Miller Sr. She lived a life filled with joy, love, and an unwavering spirit that touched everyone she met. Joyce will always be remembered for her strength, wisdom, humor, and boundless, unconditional love.

Throughout her life, Joyce found joy in simple yet meaningful pursuits: tending her garden in Dublin, NH, baking peanut butter balls to share, and sewing blankets and Christmas stockings for her family. From 1971 to 1973, she proudly served in the U.S. Army as a Specialist 4, earning the National Defense Service Medal for her honorable service during a time of national emergency. In 1974, she married Brian Davis, her former husband and the father of her two daughters. Known for her humor and open-minded nature, Joyce leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Joyce is survived by her loving daughters, Kallie (Charles) Georgoulakos, and Kasi Davis; grandchildren Dustin (Natassia) Abare of Pennsylvania, Larissa Georgoulakos, Mikayla Georgoulakos, Alexandra Georgoulakos, Sierra Davis, Alyssa Secore, and Jared Secore, all of New Hampshire, and seven great-grandchildren.

Joyce is also survived by her siblings: Babette VonStade, Russell Miller Jr., Debra Miller, Phyllis Tarr, and Sandra Dane, all of New Hampshire, along with numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved mother, Agnes Shovan; father, Russell Miller Sr.; stepfather, Richard Shovan; and brother, William "Billy" Miller.

The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Joyce Ann Davis's honor to Lung Cancer Research Foundation, reflecting her deep dedication to serving her country and supporting fellow veterans.

Her love and light will forever shine in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her. A devoted grandmother lovingly called "Grandma" or "Gram" by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; she adored her family above all else. Her selflessness, generosity, and enduring love will be remembered by all who were blessed to be part of her life.
