Joyce Carol Durham

We just learned of Joyce's passing. Joyce was a sweet and wonderful person. I can still remember when she first started walking over to the house pushing a baby carriage to help her balance herself. Joyce never let any obsticals get in her way she met them head on with those little red curls bounceing and making some joke or some funny face. Joyce had the personality that everyone would love to have. God granted you with a bundle of joy that touched so many people. Take comfort in knowing she is still giving joy in our heavenly home. We are honored that God let us be a part of her life. We will miss her but we have the memories to cheerish for the rest of our lives and then when we meet again in heaven. Our deepest sympathy goes to your family.

Dear Pete and Nancy,
I am so sorry about Joyce. She was such a joy to everyone who met her since she was a child until now as an adult. She was always the life of the party. I pray that you will feel God's arms as they are wrapped around you at this time, may your memories help you get through this. Just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you and your family.

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.

I had the great pleasure of meeting Joyce at Hamrick's in Greensboro and always enjoyed having her as a customer. The last time I saw her, I knew she was failing, and I'm so sorry to hear that she wasn't able to rally one more time. She was a delight!
