I am a member of Rising Star Chapter and I have very fond memories of Joyce. I have not been to any chapter meetings in quite some time, but when I did come I knew I would see her smiling face. She is certainly missed. My condolences to the family.

I have great memories of the cabin on the Russian river. Joyce was the last of my parents' friends. She will be missed.

Joyce Holloway was one of our jurors who contribute the legal education of our students in the McGeorge School of Law Trial Advocacy Program. When I began teaching at McGeorge in 1992 she was already a juror volunteer. Every semester she would attend our student all-day jury trials and deliberate with her fellow jurors. For many years her husband Jack also accompanied her on the jury.

I also remember her from the '60's when her realty company handled the rental of our rented home. She was a lovely woman.

All of us at McGeorge School of Law offer our sympathies to the Holloway family. We will miss her.

My Granddaughter Zoe Vernon lives in the neighborhood where "Miss Joyce" lived. Zoe considered "Miss Joyce" her best friend and she would visit her often and they would talk and play the piano. She was very sad to hear of her passing but she now believes that "Miss Joyce" is her very own special Angel in heaven. God bless her family and may peace fill your hearts.
Sincerely,
Shelly Bowman
