Joyce lived her life to the fullest with her love, laughter and willingness to help and to pray for and with others. We have known Joyce for a long time; enjoyed working with her at the Mid-Prairie Scripture Mission Bible Camp. When she was involved with Youth For Truth she brought some young people to Youth Quake at Caronport and they were billeted at our house. After the room vibrated with laughter, we heard Joyce say, "Now girls, we have to sleep fast because we have to get up early tomorrow morning". She was special!
We pray for God to comfort and encourage Frank and the family and for the Adrian family too.

My thoughts are with all of you in these days of grieving! I have so many good memories of Joyce! The one that probably would have caused her the most stress was when Willie and Harry Friesen locked her into the basement of the barn at the Youth Farm during camp! There definitely was a commotion that no one missed!! Blessings!

Through my connection with Ruth Friesen, I read about Joyce going to be with Jesus. Joyce was full of joy, laughter, and love of her Lord. I will always remember Joyce. She made me laugh, but her life was a testimony,(in those long ago Hague/Rosthern days). Although it has been many, many years since I knew Joyce, I have never forgotten her, or the rest of the Adrian family. May you have joy in remembering and in knowing it won't be long till you see Joyce again. Esther and Henry Elias (nee Stoesz) P.S. Greetings to all of you, but especially Dorothy.

Frank, Ron, Wilmer, Dorothy, Cliff, Em, Esther, Bill & Jean and families, I grieve with you in the huge but temporary loss of your beloved Joyce, who was so beautifully unique in her acceptance of self and others, so generous in her love for everyone she met, and always overflowing with fun and laughter and joy in the Lord! Joyce and I first met at Chortitz Church when we were 10 and she was always a wonderful friend - so much fun to be with and such a dear sister in the Lord. May the Lord give you His amazing peace and comfort in the midst of your sorrow, knowing that she is safely at Home with her Lord and we will all meet her again in Glory. Vangi (Guenter) Munchinsky

Frank and extended families, Praying God will encourage and gladden your hearts in the coming days when joys and cherished memories are reviewed by family and friends. The joy of the Lord be your strength. I have precious memories of Joyce leading S.S. children's music in our little Chortitz country church.

I remember Joyce from Truth for Youth events and prayer meetings at Rosthern, and from camp, where she was my counselor one summer. Her warmth and enthusiasm, and her care for others, were great gifts.

Joyce had a huge impact on me in my teens in the '70's. I will always remember those Monday night prayer meetings and Truth for Youth events at the Rosthern Nursing Home where she connected with so many youth from the area. Her love for God, for people and for life was infectious. My deepest condolences to the family.

Oh my! Oh my! I don't claim to understand how our transition from earth to heaven goes, but I can imagine the smiles and laughter and even the clamour that went on when Joyce arrived! This world is a more cheerful place because Joyce was here - not long enough, but she was and we treasure all the love she shared! May the Good LORD give peace and comfort to you, her family!
