I remember listening to the Honeymooners on the radio when it first started back in the fifties with my dad before we bought our 1st T.V. I was very young and I sat on my dad's knee so I could not put a face to her she was just a character until I saw her on t.v. and she and the rest of the cast were marvelous!!! From then on I was a Fan for life!!! As I'm still watching it at 74 years old!!
RIP Joyce thanks for the laughs!!!

If you're interested, Joyce appeared in a radio play of mine. It's on YouTube entitled, "A Trip to the Moon" if you search under "Claude Chabot Presents." She was wonderful in it. But very different from Trixie...

Celebrate the talented beautiful actress Joyce Randolph who played Trixie Norton on the classic sitcom The Honeymooners, I love watching The Honeymooners when grown up and catching the reruns , thank you for the memories laughter that it brought into our homes every night making us laugh. I do remember a line that Ralph said to Alice one of these days you going to the moon. We could catch the reruns on the Honeymooners on Tv, legacy will still live on reruns. She will be missed and yet never be forgotten.
Joyce has been reunited with her The Honeymooners cast her Tv Husband Ed Norton ( Art Carney), her neighbors best friend Alice Kramden (Audrey Meadows), Ralph Kramden (Jackie Gleason) in HEAVEN now having a SPECIAL REUNION over drinks, and reminiscing again forming the close knit bond that they had. Thoughts, prayers are with you all

My deepest, heartfelt condolences to Joyce´s family, friends, and fans of The Honeymooners. We are sad but we take solace in knowing that Jackie, Art, Audrey, and Joyce are together in that big kitchen in the sky. We mourn Joyce´s passing but let us also re(Joyce) in knowing that the four Honeymooners are reunited, and playing their roles for an angelic audience. If you listen closely you will hear the peals of laughter reverberating throughout heaven.

Mr. Charles, my condolences.
"The Honeymooners." Such a precious snapshot in my childhood. Dad, stomping around the house doing his best imitation of Ralph, reusing any number of great lines from the show when he felt we needed to have something underscored!
Coming home from school and watching the shows over and over and over . . .
Our Mom, who LOVED Trixie the most, named our lovely collie, mix, Trixie, after the character . . .
Thank you, Ms. Randolph, for all the memories.
RIP, to all our Trixies.
