It´s been almost four years, however in learning of the Passing of Thomas White on today, it lead me to read your obituary, knowing that the Brewer Center crew is creating an atmosphere in heaven now for the rest of us makes me Happy. I´m sorry I missed your funeral, no one hadn´t spoken of it until years later and my heart still hurts knowing that you are no longer with us. My deepest sympathy goes to your family, although.next year will be the 20th year since I graduated from CSU, I will never forget you because you were like my Mom away from. Working in Student Activities was one of the highlights of my collegiate career. I miss you and hope to see you on the other side. Love you Mrs Joyce or as we called you Momma Joyce.

To the woman that helped me break out of my introvert shell and helped me not to be afraid of putting myself out there... The first person to call me Prince of Peace as a tease... See ya later Mrs. Joyce.. I wont be late for workstudy...

I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Joyce. She was the student activities director at CSU and was so kind to me when I was in student government and required her advice and guidance. She was already ready and willing to help and had such a passion for what she did. She will be so greatly missed. Sending love and prayers your way.

What a sweet and beautiful lady. I'm so proud to be able to claim her as a friend. She will surely be missed but our loss is Heaven's gain.

So go rest high on that mountain Joyce, your work on earth was very well done!

I am so sorry to hear of Joyce's passing.:She was amazing. Our love of beauty pageants put us together and we shared many fun and exciting times. Loved her enthusiasm and her friendship was so natural and warm. Wish I had been able to see her more often . She was the type of person you would definitely want to be friends with. Blessings and comfort for her family.

I met Joyce through the Miss Summerville Program. What a wonderful lady! We had fun together working on pageants, going to Miss SC, and getting our girls ready for anything and everything. She was funny, kind, creative, and a wonderful person to be around. You will be missed by many.
