Dear Rolf
I was very sorry to hear of Joyce's passing. Joyce was a very special friend to me at PRHS. I am very sorry to have lost contact with her over the years, but Sonja has kept me up with some of your news. I have very happy memories of visiting with Joyce and her mother and the yummy Scandinavian food they prepared. Also remember the skiing holidays.
Please accept my sincere sympathy Jean

Rolf:
I am sorry to hear about Joyce. I know my mom was happy to see her recently. My mom said Joyce was the first of "THE GIRLS" to pass. It makes you realize time does go fast, sometimes too fast. I know Joyce was a good, longtiome friend to my mom, and she will be missed. Will keep you and Joyce in my thoughts. Kim Rivera (Janice's daughter)

Dear Vivian and Rolf. I am very sorry to hear about Joyce's passing. I still remember her babysitting for me when I was very young and being very kind to me when my mom passed.(Vivian - I was on Staten Island recently, and was going to stop by, but wasn't sure if you still lived at the same house.

Joyce and I were also confirmed together in the spring of 1956, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church on Decker Avenue (used to be Wasa Lutheran Church).
