Joyce Snodgrass Obituary
Joyce was born on May 27, 1947, in Honaker, Virginia, to the late George and Margaret (Griffith) Canter. On October 29, 1988, she married Robert Snodgrass who survives. She previously worked for Vagabond Village as a cook, G.C. Murphy store in Defiance and Ranchland Motel in Defiance. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Defiance.
Along with her husband, Robert, Joyce is survived by her children, Brian (Louise) Caryer, Ashley, Indiana, Tammy (Daniel) Dopp, West Unity, Ohio, Christina (Hanibal Concepcion) Cruz, Defiance, Ohio, step-son, Gary Snodgrass, Lima, Ohio, step-daughter, Tracy Robinson, Defiance, Ohio, 14 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Joyce is also preceded in death by sons-in-law, James Cruz and Bruce Stephens and grandson, David Moyes.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 6, 2023, at Den Herder Funeral Home. Burial will be at Riverview Memory Gardens, Defiance, Ohio.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of services on Monday.
Memorial contributions may be made in Joyce's memory c/o Den Herder Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses. Online condolences may be shared at www.denherderfh.com.
