PIZZOLATO Raymond Anthony Pizzolato, Sr., a native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell, LA for the past 20 years, on Wednesday, November 23, 2005. Husband of Cheryl Norton Pizzolato.Father of Raymond Pizzolato, Jr., Terry Dayberry and Steven Pizzolato.Step-father of Cynthia Ruiz. Grandfather of Christopher and Shelby Pizzolato, Lauren and Randall Dayberry, Cameron, Alicia and Madison Pizzolato.Step-grandfather of Mark Ruiz.Brother of Charles Pizzolato.Age 65 years, he was a member of the American Legion Post # 185, Elks Lodge #2321 and the Bayou State Campers. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Monday evening, November 28, 2005 at 8:00 P.M.Rev. Adrian Hall,officiating.Interment will be private.Visitation on Monday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Donations to the American Legion Post # 185, preferred, in lieu of flowers. Arrangements by Honaker Funeral Home, Inc., Slidell, LA.

Cheryl:

I know what you are going thru. "Been there; don that" as they say "take a day at a time". I will be there to walk you through but walk slowly and not rush for the memories will last alot longer. I loved him as Mike did and we love you as a sister. I would have been there sooner, however, when Brandy died , I died too. But then the responsible of "Kaleb" came along and I finally realized that the worst thing that could happen to me was not the worst, for there was "Kaleb". As Raymond would say, "Ready Baby? "I'm ready." "Let's go." Don't listen to people telling you "what's best for you." You do what you feel is best for you. Michael will be there tonight and we will be there always. Take care of Mike. It's really hard because we were coming but we were too late.
