1932 - 2015 W. CHESTERFIELD N.H. Joyce D. Winn, 82, of W. Chesterfield, N.H. passed away on Thursday, April 2, at her home. She was born in Stockbridge, Vt. on Dec. 28, 1932, the daughter of the late Blake S. and Nancy (Fish) Darling. Joyce was a lifelong area resident. She earned a degree as a Registered Nurse from Mary Hitchcock School of Nursing. She worked as a nurse in the operating room at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital and later as the bookkeeper for the family business, Harry Winn & Sons in W. Chesterfield. Joyce enjoyed sewing, doing crossword puzzles, and cooking. She was a member of the Mary Hitchcock Alumni Association, the Chesterfield PTA, and the auxiliary for the W. Chesterfield Engine & Hose Company. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Wayne H. Winn, of W. Chesterfield; three children, Gary Winn and his wife, Margaret, of W. Chesterfield, Linda Monmaney and her husband, Anthony, of Enfield, N.H., and Terry Winn and his wife, Diane, also of W. Chesterfield; a sister, Nancianne Houghton and her husband, William, of Walpole, N.H.; eight grandchildren, Crystal, Samantha, Melanie, Travis, Alex, Ashley, Tiffany, and Andrew; and a great-grandson, Nathaniel. She is predeceased by two brothers, Richard, and Donald Darling; and a sister, Irene Miner. FUNERAL NOTICE: There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on May 30 at 1 p.m. at Chesterfield West Cemetery in W. Chesterfield. The KER-WESTERLUND FUNERAL HOME, Brattleboro, Vt. has been entrusted with arrangements.
