Rich was an wonderful person. I worked 17 1/2 in courts with him. We had many laugh at Levi court house. He loved to talk about his travels, and adventures. He will be greatly missed. I have no words to express this sadness in my heart. I pray God will bless you and comfort you at this time.

We spent over 30 years as close friends, and the times we spent together were some of the best times of my life. All the poker games, our travels overseas, the time we spent with our friends, and those hours we spent just talking about life, loves, and our dreams. When we lived together, you were there at a time when I really needed a friend, and you always made me feel like every day was better than the last. All the barbeques, meals, and your chili will always be missed.
We are sad to see you go so soon, but we know you will always be a part of us in spirit. You were a great friend, a good father, and a superb deputy sheriff.
Rest in peace, my friend, and I'll see you when I get there.
