Juana Urbina, 86, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020, with her family by her side in Slidell, Louisiana.
She was born on December 2, 1933, in Jutiapa, Honduras to Felipa Medina and Lucio Martinez. She loved to sing and watch movies, but above all loved her family.
Juana was preceded in death by her parents; Felipa Medina and Lucio Martinez; two brothers, Jose and Luis Martinez; three sisters, Paula Martinez, Concepcion Martinez, and Gloria de Fuentez; and her husband Calixto Urbina.
She is survived by her four sons; Carlos, Alejandro, Hector, and Julio Urbina; two daughters, Teresa Urbina and Gloria Calero; eight grandchildren, Carmen and Jonathan Urbina, Fullington and Jackie Frazer, Julia Urbina, and Ashley, Michael, and Scarlet Calero; two sisters, Francisca Martinez and Mercedes Almendarez; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,
1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 11:00 A.M.
Interment to follow in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.
Visitation on Wednesday after 9:00 A.M. until funeral time
