Juanita Connor Obituary
Newark - Juanita Connor, 89, of Newark, went home to the lord Saturday, August 11, 2018 at her home. She was born April 22, 1929 in Newark to the late Carl and Eva (Freiner) Tate.
Juanita was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. She was a volunteer at the Midland Theatre, a member of the Red Hat Society the Hebron Happy Hatters, member of Professional Secretary International and a graduate of Dale Carnegie Course where she served as an assistant. She was known for her sugar cookies and generous heart. Faith and family were very important to her.
She is survived by her daughter, Diana Hufford of Heath; two grandchildren, Jason (Tricia) B. Hufford and Josh (Mary) B. Hufford; five great grandchildren, Dom, Tate, Jarrod, Ellie, and Ty; two sisters, Mildred (Richard) Harris of Newark and Helen (Dave) Baughman of Heath; special friend, Don Eshelman and special son -in- law, Gordon Hufford; and special niece, Jan Rand of Utah.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Connor; and three brothers, Harold, William, and Bobby Tate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio, P.O. Box 430, Newark, OH 43058.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-7 PM at the Brucker- Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark where the funeral service will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Cory Campbell officiating. Burial will follow the service in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Well done good and faithful servant. Juanita had a deep faith that served her well in this life, a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. May God grant her the ultimate reward in His Heavenly Kingdom. You will be loved and missed.
