January 31, 1934 - May 10, 2022
Santa Clara Valley native Juanita Espinosa, lovingly known as Jenny, passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on Tuesday, May 10th, El Dia de Las Madres, after a years long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Born in Santa Clara, CA to Teresa and Pablo Rocha (a veteran of the 1910 Mexican Revolution, who took orders from Pancho Villa), Jenny worked with her family in the various canneries that populated the "Valley of Heart's Delight", before meeting and marrying her husband of 67 years, Domingo Espinosa. She raised 5 children, Virginia, David, Tony, Regina, and Paul. She is survived by her husband Domingo, her children Tony Espinosa (Carl Parker), Regina Espinosa, and Paul Espinosa (Don Alvarez), and Regina's children, Carlotta, Carlos, Dylan, his wife Blair, and their children, Louisa and Rose. Special thanks to Lydia Tinoco, Dinorah Jamison, and Terry Torres Maloney for the loving care they have provided both our parents these past few years. Thanks also to the San Jose Fire Department and EMT's for their aid in our mother's time of need. A funeral mass will be held at St. Clare's Church, 725 Washington Street, Santa Clara, CA 95050 on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 Beginning at 12 Noon. You may make a donation to the charity of your choice in Juanita's name. Flowers may be sent to Lima Family Mortuary 466 N. Winchester Blvd. Santa Clara CA 95050
