Carol, Tracy, Carrie, and our beloved Courtney, Gabby, and the rest of your family, we are so saddened by the loss of your father, mother, grandpa, and grandma. They were indeed two lovely, sweet, good natured people, full of love for all of you. Oh dear Kay and Carol, my heart goes out to you and your families. We have such fond memories of your parents. My mother would be bereft if she knew she'd lost her two dear friends; I will protect her from this sad, sad news. Your mother was beautiful, fashionable, fun and had such class and grace. She and Lera shared many laughs in their lifelong friendship. When we brought my mother to Tucson about eight years ago to see your folks, Nita was so loving and kind to Lera, whose memory was failing even then. Our family sends love and peace to you all.
