In memory of
Joyce Thompson
March 3, 2003
I am so sorry to here of your mother's passing. I met her and one of the daughters on a trip to New Orleans and Southern Mississippi for U of L Volleyball tournaments. She was very gracious and we had a great time with her and her daughter. Subsequently, I'd say hello to her at other U of L games. She will be sorely missed. My mother died a year ago, so I too know how hard it is to lose a mother. Again, my deepest sympathy.

Aunt Olga may not be here with us any longer, but she is certainly at home with her Heavenly Father. I will always have fond childhood memories of family times shared. I deeply appreciate her wisdom and guidance she offered me as an adult.
She impacted many lives during her lifetime and shall truly be missed.
My sympathy is with her friends and family.

Clarence and I would like to express our deepest sympathy to the family. It was an honor to have Honorable Olga Peers in the Judicial System. I was blessed to be one of the secretaries who saw her great works and other pioneers who's resting in Jesus' arms. May God Bless. The Yanceys

I had the priviledge and pleasure of practicing cases both with, and before, Olga Peers. Through both relationships I came to great fondness for her personally, and admiration for her professionally. I am saddened to hear of her passing. My sincere condolences to her family.

Judge Peers was a friend of mine that I highly respected and admired. I had the opportunity to campaign with her in the 70's and witnessed her at work in her court room on several occasions. She was a class act through and through. Mom leaves a legacy of virtue and compassion and she will be missed by those that loved her.

I am a member of the Cardinal Dames, which Judge Peers also belonged to. I will miss seeing her at monthly meetings, UofL volleyball & basketball games. She was a brilliant and classy lady and I know everyone at UofL will sadly miss her as well.
