In Loving Memory of Judith Ann "Judy" Face

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judith Ann Face, known fondly as Judy, on October 27, 2023, at the age of 80. She was born on January 30, 1943, in New Castle, Indiana, to the late Ewing and Lela Crabtree.

Judy was a woman of unwavering faith and deep devotion to her family. She carried herself with grace and kindness, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her unwavering faith in God provided her with strength and comfort throughout her life. We take solace in knowing that she has been called home to join her loved ones who have gone before her.

Judy's life was centered around her role as a homemaker, a true testament to her dedication and love for her family. She poured her heart and soul into creating a warm and loving home, where she selflessly cared for her loved ones. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support were a source of comfort and strength for her family.

In her leisure time, Judy found solace in the written word. She immersed herself in the pages of books, finding joy and inspiration in the stories they held. She also enjoyed the challenge of puzzles, using them as a way to relax and engage her mind. Additionally, Judy found great joy in watching children, their innocence and laughter bringing a sparkle to her eyes.

Judy will be deeply missed by her surviving loved ones, including her great-grandson, Nathaniel James Nelson, great-granddaughter, Allyssa Marie Fortner, sisters Joyce Christian, Sheila Marshall, Ruth Foster, and Deborah Wilcox, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Ewing Crabtree Sr., mother, Lela Elva Crabtree, husband, Elwood (Woody) Loyd Face, daughters Deanna Marie Face, Denise Mareen Spaulding, and Deborah Michelle Face, granddaughter Catherine Ann Spaulding, grandson Jonathon Hugh Burke, sister Opal Cook, and brothers Charles (Chuck) Crabtree, Ewing Crabtree Jr., and James (Jim) Crabtree.

A traditional memorial service will be held at a later date to honor Judy's life and legacy. In this time of mourning, let us find solace in the memories we shared with Judy and the love she bestowed upon us. Her gentle spirit and loving nature will forever be etched in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Judy's honor to [charity/organization of choice]. May we find strength in coming together to celebrate the remarkable life of our beloved Judy.

"Her memory will forever be cherished, her legacy will live on. May she rest in eternal peace."
