The world has lost a wonderful lady but heaven has gained another. If not for her, we would not have been blessed with such a loving husband and father for our daughter and grand daughter. She will always have a special place in our hearts. You all are in our prayers and we love you very much.

Dear Mr. McDowell and Family,
I am sending deepest sympathy to you upon the loss of your dear one, Mrs. McDowell. I know that she is sitting at the right hand of Jesus who she loved. I remember Mrs. McDowell well from growing up in First Baptist; she was always friendly, cheerful, and kind. So many things she was involved in from Youth-O-Rama in the 70's to secretary. Such a dear and honorable lady. May Jesus hold you all close and bring you comfort. She will be very missed.

Bill, it has been years since you have heard the names Bobbie and Lester Buckner, and even though I do not know your present address, I do want you to know that everytime we drive down the road between Odena and 280, we always think of you wondering how you two are doing. We are shocked and saddened at this news, and send our love and condolences to you and your children, with prayers that our God will give you comfort and peace during this time that remains for your journey on this earth. My deep sadness at Judy's passing. We all go back to the beginning over 48 years ago. And after your marriage, it was through your invitation to "come and look at things" in Panama City that my family came to be. So many memories. Please know that my prayers and thoughts are with you, old friend. My best to you and to your family..

I will miss you Judy, and look forward to seeing you again when I make my move to Heaven! You, Bill, and your kids were among the very first people I met when I moved to Alabama in 1979. You have been a wonderful influence in my life and I will always love you and your family.
