Joyce & Family,

I have known Bill for many years. His aunt Mary Waibel was married to my uncle Emil Roecker. I would always see him when he and Bob would come with their parents to visit uncle Emil and aunt Mary. I volunteer at the Peoria home and I enjoyed talking to him when he was volunteering there. He will be greatly missed there. With my deepest sympathy.

Dear Waibel Family, I am sorry to hear of your loss. Most of my memories of Bill are during the early days at the gravel pit. One time when the operators were away Bill did'nt hesitate to load my small truck. It took a while but he got the job done. My mother always mentions how nice it was to have Bill as a neighbor along the river. Please accept my condolences.

Mr. Waibel was a great friend to me. He always was a great man. Great family man and father. He taught his children well. I know he was so proud of all his family. I remember the last time I saw him I was working on a job and he saw me standing there. He stopped the car and got out and came over to ask about how I was doing and my family. I love that guy. So many great memories of this man. I was lucky to know him and his family. God bless his soul...

Dear Joyce and family---we are so saddened by your loss and will be thinking of you and praying for your comfort and encouragement in the coming days. Unfortunately my sister in law's funeral is the same time as Bill's, so we are unable to be with you. Ralph always enjoyed Bill's company so much---he was quite a guy and leaves quite a legacy with his wife and wonderful family. May you all feel God's peace as you give him up to our Heavenly Father.

Meeting Bill at church on Sunday morning was always a personal blessing. He had a certain vibrant greeting that I shall never forget. It was a surprise to learn of his passing but it is good to know of his personal faith in the Lord. We who remain here can have the consolation that Bill is "absent from the body but present with the Lord." Lord bless you Bev and Family.

Dear Joyce and family....what wondeful memories we have of Bill...he was such a joy to be around...remember some of his favorite lines..."we'll be wearing radishes as big as diamonds"..."I've got a hand like a foot"..."did anyone see that?"..."were you ready?"...."are these sides fair?"...these will be carried on by many of us...thanks for sharing him with us...our lives are richer having been around him...may God comfort all of us as we miss him in the days ahead...we love you....Dave & Max

Dear Waibel Family....So many of my favorite memories growing up involve your dad....my first fishing trip to Lake Pepin, water skiing, the houseboat vacation, swimming at your pool, out at the farm, family dinners at your big white house. Every memory involves a lot of laughter and a wonderful sense of love. Parents set the tone and together Bill & Joyce created an amazing family. You all represent joy in my life. Thank you. My thoughts and prayers are with you. With much love.
