I came to know and love Judy as we worked together as volunteers for PALS. I cannot thank her enough for all her support, friendship, patience and much kindness for all our homeless felines that crossed our paths at the shelter. She was dedicated and very determined that all our furry friends would find happy homes. I am sure that if there is a special "cat God", she is right there directing them all. God Bless and thanks so much, Judy. Love, Diane Kondichook

Judy was a gracious neighbor with a ready smile and a well known love of cats - everyone's! I hadn't known she was ill, and was completely surprised and saddened by the news of her passing. She was a loving daughter, proud of her family. Her steady and calm resolution, especially in her lovely garden with her quiet attention to details will be sorely missed. I'll remember forwever her fierce and firm fight to save Northeast Airlines - she was a role model. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

As P.A.L.S. volunteers, Judy and I spent almost every Saturday together at the Adoption Center talking to people who were not only interested in adopting, but looking for much needed advice on many cat related issues. Judy never hesitated to share her feline experience or to offer comfort to someone who had recently lost a pet. I will miss our Saturday shifts, but I know she will continue to guide us from her new home.

We only knew Judy a very short while through volunteering with PALS. She had a way of making volunteering at PALS meaningful and a pleasant contagious experience. She was an inspiration for sure. We feel fortunate to have known Judy in the short time we did. She will be missed by many.

My husband Michael and I only knew Judy for the few months we have volunteered with PALS, but saw her as a wonderful lady, with a great love for the cats and wonderfully generous with her time. The organization will miss her immensely!

As a volunteer at PALS for the past few years, I came realized quickly that Judy was one of God's earth angels for our feline friends. Her kindess, compassion, committment and love towards the homeless cats/kitties was truly remarkable. I understand now how ill she must of been for the past year, and yet she continued to give as much as she could give.
My wish is that Judy is met in heaven by a parade of cats holding beautiful riibbons and banners thanking her for all the care she gave to their feline family.

To have walked on this earth and know that we have made a difference is what it is to have lived.
Thank you Judy.

It has been far too many years since I last spoke with Judy, and now I read of her death. What an inspiration she was to all those people who knew and confided in her. She was never at a loss to give advice, and sage advice at that. I will never forget her comfort when coming home at night, as a single man, and our late-night jaunts to The Landing when we both lived at Glover Square in Marblehead. May Judy's love for life, people, and everday surroundings serve as a model insights to our own.

I knew Judy for less than one year, a blip in her long life. I was a new volunteer at PALS feline rescue. I will always be grateful for her mentoring and wise and compassionate ways with our abandoned animals. PALS will move forward and continue to rescue several hundred animals a year - or more - because of the groundwork Judy laid. I wish I had more time to know Judy better but I will always consider her a friend. She showed me respect and we had a lot of laughs. I hope Judy's peaceful place has lots of cats... and marguaritas.

Judy and I were like best Buds at PALS. I will never forget her smile and her love for other animals. Also, I will remember Judy by Raven "Feline " that she Loved and that I have. Judy gave me a chance to help at the shelter and I could never thank her enough. And I hope that the help that I gave you was great, because you were great. So Judy remember me and I will remember you in my heart. Rest In Peace!

I was shocked and saddened by Judy's sudden passing. Judy adopted out many rescued cats and kittens that I brought in from the streets, even finding perfect homes for the special needs ones, and for this I will always be grateful. She will be missed.

Fond memories come to mind when I think of times shared with Judy. A very special lady indeed, full of compassion and love for her family, friends, and the many felines in need. I always enjoyed working with Judy as well as our down time spent relaxing and visiting. She will be missed as a dear friend and coworker.

Judy was a good friend and a very gracious lady. I loved her smile and admired her fortitude. I will miss our weekly conversations about our mutual love and appreciation of family, both human and non-human.
