I am Judy's first cousin. We lived in Florida until 1966. I am 7 years younger than she was, but still she was a good friend and mentor to me. She taught me to play the Ukulele (which I still play) and paint. Today at our weekly Uke Jam, we sang "Where Have All the Flowers Gone," which was one of the many songs we sang together. After, those younger years, we were not in touch. And now I live in California. But I was able to have a few visits with her when we traveled to Florida. It was good to get to know Grant. A couple of years ago, Pamela set up a conference call, so that I could talk with her in the nursing home. She was her same lively and fun self. Our best to all the family. We know she has left a gap.

Judy was a long time friend, neighbor and Christian sister. We raised our kids, prayed together, and had fun with our families going to the beach, having covered dish dinner/picnics and dancing with our husbands on New Year´s Eve. So many, many happy memories over the years!
We went to her daughter´s wedding in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands and her family came to my daughter´s wedding on top of a mountain in Vail, CO.
Seeing her physical decline and weakness in recent years was distressing. We all prayed for healing...for a miracle!!! Though human suffering is so very hard to understand, as believers in Jesus Christ, we KNOW that Judy is at peace and rest! Judy has had her final healing and will be waiting to welcome us to heaven! My love and prayers to the family!
