So sorry to hear of Judith's passing long after it happened. She was not just a Mennonite genealogist but a friend to all who shared her passion for the hobby. I will miss the opportunity to pick at her wealth of knowledge so that mine can improve. May God grant you and her family peace in this time of loss.

I was shocked to hear of Judii's passing. Years ago when I was attempting to create my first Internet web page, Judii patiently helped me produce some workable code. I'll miss her earthy sense of humour; her hearty laugh; and, her radiate smile. May she rest in peace.
Us and our beautiful tree.

I loved Judii dearly. She filled my life with love, deep respect and challenge. The best conversation. The best company. The best food. The best life a man can have. Judii's mantra was to "spend every minute twice" and we did.
On June 4, at our home, I met with more than 50 friends and family who loved Judii nearly as much as me.
I miss my Judii terribly ... but she loved life so much that she will want me and all of her family and friends to contimue the celebration of life ... set her a place at the table.
I love you my darling.

Judith was an inspiration and a patient mentor to all who she knew. She managed to take technology and help even the most timid to understand. Judith will be sadly missed by all of us.

My dear friend, Judii,
I will miss our times together and the friendship which grew over the years. Our regular visits over lattes and books were anticipated...a highlight in my day that nourished my spirit. You taught me many things the most important of which were not genealogy, research, gardening, cooking or computers. Although you were a master of all these challenging areas the memory of friendship, joy, generosity, authenticity, and loyalty is your lasting gift to me. I remember the times you stayed with Frank and me in Windermere. Although we laughed until tears rolled down our cheeks and blamed it on a single glass of wine the real culprit was friendship and love. Thank you for being you. Your presence in my life was a blessing. Good bye, my friend.

Condolences to all of Judii's family. I worked with Judii at The City and have fond memories of her delicious "pot luck" contributions to our various lunches but especially her kindness and support. Her generous spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

I had the great pleasure of doing Judi's hair for the past 20 years. During that time we became good friends. She shared many gardening tips, recipes, and dinners with me. Most recently she was investigating my family genealogy. Judii I will miss you more than words can express. We cried together, laughed together, and shared numerous stories over the years. I will remember you with warmth and gratitude whenever I see the many plants you contributed to my garden grow and bloom, when I cook the delicious recipes you lovingly shared with me, when I share my Dad's family history with him this Father's day, and when I read a great book that I know you would appreciate. Good-Bye Friend, I love you. Hugs Wendy

My sincere condolences to Grant, family members and the Mennonite Community. I knew you for nearly 20 years, and not a day went by that your bubbly personality did not shine through to lift others up. Your willingnes to help, your intimate knowledge of computers, programming, and genealogy were known to all you came in contact with. You are now at peace. I will miss you terribly.

"How Can I Help"
Judith and I shared the passion of genealogy and she was a genius when it came to research and website planning. She will be missed in many communities that were lucky to be a part of her life. She was always willing to help with any situation and I will always remember her saying: How Can I Help.

Judii's high professional standards when she taught beginning genealogists how to research and cite their research enabled many family historians to find and document their genealogy for generations back. Her willingness to help others was always appreciated.

I knew Judith only through e-mail and notices on dist-gen. I did see her once at AFHS Family History Seminar and thought a lot of her. I will miss her as well and very sorry to hear of her passing.
