Judith Lynne Rosholt

Judith Lynne Weyer was born into this world in Milwaukee, WI on August 11, 1937. She married Marty Rosholt in 1961 and lived in Minocqua, WI before moving to Scottsdale, AZ in the fall of 1983. She passed away peacefully with Todd and Renee by her side in Nashville, TN on December 25, 2023. She will be missed by so many.

Judy attended Fernwood Grade School in the Bay View area of Milwaukee, then moved to Rosholt, WI at age 11 and graduated from Rosholt High School in 1955. She then attended Luther College in Decorah, IA for 2 years.

Judy loved to work...she held several positions during her life. She began her work career in Minneapolis at Pillsbury Mills and then at John Hancock paying insurance claims for 6 years. After moving to Minocqua, WI she did volunteer work at Howard Young Medical Center and was the church organist at Calvary Lutheran Church all while managing Timber Ridge Country Club. In Scottsdale, she was a member of the choir at LaCasa de Cristo Lutheran Church. And lastly, she worked at International Insignia where she owned and operated a mail order business selling military patches and pins.

Outside of her work life, she had many hobbies and interests. Judy was in a bowling league, she played mahjong and card games with friends, she enjoyed cooking, decorating, entertaining and making very creative scrapbooks for her grandchildren.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Louella Weyer, her husband Marty Rosholt and many dear relatives and friends. She is survived by her sons Todd Rosholt (Renee Rosholt) and Steve Rosholt (Jeanne Rosholt), grandchildren Michael and Sydney Rosholt, brother Jeff Weyer (Kyle Weyer), nieces Joanna Vanderhoef and Jessie Barnett (Bill Barnett), brother-in-law Gary Rosholt, niece Jill Rosholt (Scott Swingle) and nephew JG Rosholt (Lynne Rosholt).

A service will be held at the Columbarium at Ascension Lutheran Church in Minocqua, WI on a date TBD.
