Judith Steinbauer Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 24, 2024.
Judith C. Steinbauer (née Drake), aged 79, of Jupiter, Florida passed to eternal rest on May 30, 2024. Judy, as she was affectionately called, entered this world on March 8, 1945, in New York, New York, and was raised with the kind of warmth and compassion that she herself would become known for. A graduate of SUNY Oneonta, she went on to dedicate three decades of her life as a Licensed Community Association Manager in Palm Beach County.

Judy leaves a legacy of love and unwavering care, remembered by her family: brother John Drake of Enterprise, Alabama; daughter Christine Clark of Jupiter, Florida. Her step-son Jon Steinbauer, along with step-grandsons Jason and Matthew Steinbauer, also survive her. A multitude of cousins, nieces, and nephews will continue to hold Judy in their fond remembrances.

The Clark and Drake families will be holding a celebration of life with details to be announced later in the year. Judy's unparalleled dedication to her profession and the indelible mark she left on her family will forever be honored and remembered in the hearts of those who loved her.

I was so sorry to here of Judy's passing. Her and Fred were good friends in the late 80's & 90's. I worked with Fred at Pratt & Whitney. Our families would meet up at WDW. We kept in touch with Judy through FB. She never missed our Wedding Anniversary until this year. She was always a giving person. We will miss her.

We met Miss Judy at Good Shepherd in Hayesville. She was a wonderful shepherd to the children and to us. When she returned to FL we kept in touch via email. She sent us a memorable and special wedding gift which we will always cherish. She also cared for my mother by sending her special notes and prayers. We are very sad that we have lost a dear friend. May she and Myles be rest in eternal peace. Much love,Cindy Nodine and Jan Chatterton

Judy was one off God's angels on earth. We met after I came to Good Shepherd Episcopal Church and she would always be giving me notes with sweet prayers on them. I still have them in my prayer book. I will miss her.

Judy was a dear friend that we met while she was "north" in Young Harris, Ga.
her precious loving spirit enriched my life and her faithfulness to following Jesus was an inspiration.
She respected creation and worked hard to be a good steward of it.
My heart is aching as I miss her already. We plan a small memorial service here in the Good Shepherd community and would love to hear of others who would like too attend, especially her family. Pax, Amy 828-360-2080

Judy helped start the Centering Prayer group at Good Shepherd Episcopal, headed up the nursery, supported Daughters of the King ... everything done with enthusiasm! She nurtured her friendships by forwarding notes and stories to say " I'm thinking of you." I'm going to miss that nudge.
