What everyone has written describes Jud well. I will miss him being a phone call away like a piece of a puzzle is missing. As we lose loved ones, life continues for us but it's not the same. With a recent ongoing conversation I put off calling back because I believed there was always more time to talk...
He loved his life, he loved talking about new adventures or crafts he and Linda were doing.
He gave the best advice and guidance when asked. He had a great sense of decency. He didn´t back down when he felt he was right and always encouraged me to stand up for what was right over the years.
He had great timing to add a joke or his sardonic wit to cause a laugh.
He checked in with me during challenging times with family illness - I appreciate and will never forget that.
Lifelong friendships are valuable. My friend, I will always miss you.
I send wishes of peace, love and courage to Linda, the rest of his family and everyone missing him.
Forever in our hearts.

Linda, We we´re truly saddened to read of Jud´s passing, and offer our sincerest condolences. He was a lovely gentle man, and we have fond memories of our times sailing and having fun on the dock.
May he rest in Peace.

"Jud" was my big brother, who I always knew I could depend on to protect me. Here he is at our sister Merrily's second birthday. He is in the tall one in the center, I am the little guy to his right, and our middle brother Pat, who was then shorter than Jud, is on the extreme right of the picture. Jud grew into one of the finest men that I have ever known. Although he didn't take tests well, he had an amazing vocabulary, thought clearly and logically, and I am absolutely convinced that he had a high genius IQ.

I loved Mr. Spence for his unconditional love of family. We were always honest with each other, and I trusted him completely. The last time I spent with him, he took us all to lunch at the super classy Dam Pub in Sumter County. Always a gentleman. I have 2 or
3 pieces of his beautiful pottery pieces I will keep forever. He was very talented. Sending all my love to Ms. Linda, Jennifer & of course, Judd. Thanks for your sunshine Mr. Spence. You were first
Class & the pleasure was all mine.

I truly enjoyed knowing this talented, kind man. The ability to make others smile is an attribute that many take for granted but I never saw him that he didn´t make sure I had a chuckle.
So sorry for your loss. He is beloved.
