Judy Hanna Altman LAKE CITY - Judy Hanna Altman, 67, wife of the late Terrell W. Altman, died Friday, July 30, 2010 at the McLeod Hospice House, Florence, SC, after an illness. Mrs. Altman was born September 18, 1942 in Florence County, a daughter of the late Walter Way and Thelma Coker Hanna. She was a graduate of Lake City High School and attended Florence Darlington and Williamsburg Technical Colleges. Mrs. Altman was a professional secretary and former Administrative Assistant at AB Dick & Company and Coleman Company in Lake City and was the owner of Altman Video. She was a member of Little Star Free Will Baptist Church, the Ladies Auxiliary and was a former Sunday School Teacher. She loved working and traveling and especially enjoyed being with her family and friends. Surviving are her son, Terry W. Altman and his wife Melissa of Lake City; granddaughter, Ashley Altman of Derby, England; grandson, Christopher Altman and his wife Jessica of Lake City; niece and nephews she raised as her own children; Shelley Kirby, Johnny Altman, David Altman and Mark Altman; a sister Patricia Simmons of Hemingway; two brothers, Billy Hanna and Vennie Hanna both of Lake City; and David Burroughs of Lake City. Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Little Star Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Lee Cemetery, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton, SC. Memorials may be made to Little Star Free Will Baptist Church, 2750 Lake City Highway, Lake City, SC (Please sign our guestbook on line @www.carolina funeralhome.net).

Terry, Melissa , Ashley and Christopher and family members. Mrs. Judy was a very special lady, loving mother and wife. She was a friend to all of us. You all have special memories to hold on to. You all are in my prayers and thoughts daily. Just remember she is in a wonderful place and one day our goal is to be there with her and all our love ones.
