Mrs. Judy Ann Roach Cochran, age 62, of Adairsville, passed away peacefully Friday afternoon, June 24, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Cochran was born in Dalton, Georgia, July 1, 1959, daughter of the late Oscar Roach and Edna Mae Sane Roach Jones. She was a 1977 graduate of Northwest High School in Whitefield County. Judy attended NorthPointe Church and was employed with Howren Rental Properties. She had a feisty personality and big heart that you couldn't help but love. Her daughters were her pride and joy and she loved supporting them in all their accomplishments. Judy loved watching Courtney in golf tournaments and McKenzie in cheer competitions. When the girls both went away to Alabama, Judy became a huge Alabama football fan. Roll Tide Roll. She loved having a good time and the sand between her toes, especially when she was at Mexico Beach. Family, shopping, Mexican food, and her dear friends are just a few other things she loved. Judy will be missed by all who were blessed to know her. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kaitlyn Colene Cochran; father, Oscar Roach; mother and stepfather, Edna Mae Jones and John Henry Jones; brother, Jerry Roach; and sister, Bobbie Roach Chastain.

Survivors include her loving husband of 29 years, Rusty Cochran and beloved daughters, Courtney Cochran and McKenzie Cochran. Judy is also survived by Gary and Donna Howren, Steve and Connie Stewart, Rodney and Casey Taylor, and Derrick Howren; sisters, Dovie and Ken Williams and Doris Talley; brothers, Larry Roach and Roger and Lisa Roach; brother-in-law, Sidney Chastain and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 27, 2022, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Pinkard officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery, Cartersville. Pallbearers will be Dean Cochran, Scotty Moore, Todd Cochran, Jake Cochran, Ken Williams, and Sidney Chastain.

The family will receive friends Monday from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the Barton Funeral Home.

R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Mrs. Judy Ann Roach Cochran.
