Sadly, after a long fight with Covid, Judy Caroline Miller Colwell lost the battle on October 9, 2021. She is now in Heaven with her dad. She leaves behind her mother, sister, brother, and two sons. Ms. Colwell was a dedicated school bus driver for Isle of Wight Academy for many years. She is gone, but never forgotten. Rest in peace my daughter. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Isle of Wight Animal Shelter, www.iowchs.org.

To the best mom anyone could ever ask for. Mom, not a day has gone by that I haven’t thought about you and missed the hell out of you. It’s still hard to fathom that you came to see the kids at the house and then that was it. I wish I had more time to spend with you. I wish you were here to see the kids this holiday season, to see them finish school, and to see them go to college and succeed. They miss you so very much. You accepting Melanie and griffin into the family will never be forgotten by any of us. Melanie really misses you. We all miss those little talks about nothing. You will be forever missed by all of us mom. I love you mom.

I am so shocked and saddened at the passing of my friend Judy. We had some great times together in Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, and Bahamas. She loved children and animals and loved to laugh and have a good time. Judy was one of the hardest working persons I've known and knew how to turn a dime into a dollar like no other. You will never be forgotten friend. Prayers for comfort for her family.
