Judy you were my neighbor, and of course Lori was my very best friend when I moved there, so many memories I won't forget. We were all family, all of our holidays were spent together, I will miss you all. Love my child hood memories with all of you. I will see you all in heaven one day. Tammy Sheppard (Tyree) now

"Today there is a large void in the quilting community." You will be greatly missed, Judy, but we take comfort that you are now in peace. Heaven has a sparkling, new angel...

My Dear Cousin Judy. I don't know how to say goodbye, knowing I won't hear your voice again or see your sweet face that looked so much like your mom's. I am sure you are happy being reunited with Aunt Flora & Lorraine, but the sadness is with the ones still left behind. I will cherish the happy memories I have of the two of us together. As I wrap myself in the beautiful quilt you made me, I will know it is you wrapping your arms around me and comforting me. I will look at old pictures and laugh at the silly things we did as kids. I will still pray for you every night. I will miss you until the moment we see each other again. You are my cousin, but you were first and foremost, my friend. Love, Midge

I went to Kindergarten, Grade School and Junior High School with Judy and we were married and divorced after 10 years so I knew her well. She was always willing to help someone and was a person of integrity. She's at peace now and will join her mother and our daughter in a lasting peace. My prayers go with her.

Judy's lively personality and generous sharing of her joy and talents among her family and many friends remain to be remembered by everyone who knew her. Our friendship of 43 years has special memories that I treasure.

Judy was gracious and willing to have you over to share new patterns and help you out. She showed me how to make a quilted teddy bear and a purse. She will be missed.
Thoughts and prayers go to her family.
