Judy Flamm Moser, 48, died Aug. 1, 2016, at Pullman Regional Hospital in Pullman, Whitman, Wash.
She was born July 8, 1968, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Jim and Colene (Russell) Flamm. Her younger life was spent in Rexburg, where she grew up and graduated from Madison High School.
Education and learning was always important to Judy. She graduated from Ricks College in 1987 in Rexburg and subsequently from Southern Utah University in 1989, located in Cedar City, Utah, with a bachelor's degree in accounting.
Her faith and religion were also an important part of her life, and she served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Osorno, Chile, from 1989 to 1991. Judy married Ronald Kent Moser on Aug. 14, 1992, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Their first home was in South Ogden, Utah, until 1998 when they moved to Ocoee, Fla. Following this, they lived in Boise, Idaho, until 2011 when the family moved to Pullman.
Judy was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. She continued with her passion for learning with consulting and bookkeeping while being a dedicated mother and wife. Her children and family were her highest priority. She also excelled in her profession and gave her all in everything she did.
Judy had a sense of adventure and faced challenges wholeheartedly — always giving her best. She possessed a unique talent in being able to recognize each of her children's needs and finding solutions. If the solution was not currently available in the community, she would co-develop one with others, blessing the lives of many families in areas such as sports, singing groups and even a neighborhood preschool.
Judy was always on the go, walking, hiking and experiencing God's creations. She was always concerned for everyone's well-being, and she and Ron were so very generous in helping those with special needs. She never left anyone behind and was always concerned for and wanted the best for all. Judy is known for her contagious smile, genuine and caring hugs and her famous double thumbs up! She was graceful, classy, and her smile was warm and inviting. Visits from family and friends were always welcome, as she opened her home to anyone who wanted to stay.
She is survived by her husband, Ron; her children, Andrew, Josh, Anna and Rhiannon, all of Pullman; her parents, Jim and Colene Flamm; three sisters, Sherri (Neil) Erickson, Brenda (Barry) Harris and Susan (Kent) Sutton; and one brother, Kevin Flamm.
The visitation for family and friends will be held from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, at Flamm Funeral Home, 61 N. First E., in Rexburg. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Flamm Funeral Home. A viewing will be held one hour before funeral services. Judy will be interred at Rexburg Cemetery.
