Judy Elizabeth Tanner Ratley was born on September 1, 1942 in Houston, TX to Wofford and Lula Mae Tanner. She peacefully went home to be with the Lord on June 10, 2025 with her family by her side. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and much loved grandmother. She was a graduate of Hallsville High School. She married Joe Ratley on April 10, 1965, they were happily married for 57 years.

Judy worked for Radio Shack for 15 years. She taught Sunday School for several years at Trinity Baptist Church. She loved her family unconditionally.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joe, her parents Wofford and Lula Mae Tanner, sister Barbara Hodges and brother Tom Tanner. She is survived by her sons Jeff Ratley of Longview, Jason Ratley and wife Stephanie of White Oak. Three much loved granddaughters, Alaric Bennett and husband Bruce of Longview,

Adyson Ratley and Ella Ratley of Longview, sister Melanie "Susie" Capua, brother Steven Tanner and wife Betsy of Florida, and many nieces and nephews.

We would like express a heartfelt Thank you to the dedicated staff at Prime Care Hospice and the home healthcare workers for the care they provided.

A celebration of life will be on June 28, 2025 at Calvary Baptist Church, 4715 Tenneryville Rd., Longview, TX. Visitation will be at 10:00am, Memorial service at 11:00am

Mr. Jeff, Mrs. Judy was such a sweet lady and I use to always love talking with her and with Mr. Joe., and they are together again in Paradise. I´m sending my heartfelt sincere condolences and prayers to you and your extended family.
