JULIA GARIBAY

CUERO - Julia Garibay, 93, passed away Monday, April 7, 2008. She was born Jan. 7, 1915, in Cuero, to Louis and Caroline Tejeda. She was a loving mom and grandmother, and we will miss her dearly.
She is survived by her daughters, Manuela Dougay, Ramona Galindo, Mary Alvarez, Martha Cuellar, Gloria Solis, and Caroline De Los Santos; sons, Lupe Garibay, Bicente Garibay, Irancisco Garibay, and John Garibay; 36 grandchildren; 79 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Nicholas Garibay; sister, Josephine Guitterez; and brother, David Montes.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Freund Funeral Home.
Visitation will continue at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2008, followed by the funeral service at 10 a.m., at El Buen Pastor Christian Church.
Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Ronnie Solis, Joshua Garibay, Lupe Garibay, Leo Galindo, Rodney Gonzales, and Ricky Garibay.
