Cloverdale - Julia "Jo" (Bogan)Shedron passed away July 6, 2024, at Meadow Lakes of Mooresville. Jo Bogan was born to the late, Bernice (Sturgis) & Omer Bogan January 10, 1938 in Kirklin, Indiana. She grew up active in 4-H, band, roller skating, the senior class drama production and Eastern Star. She graduated from Rossville High in 1955. Jo worked in the Alumni Office at Purdue University & then the State Employment office in Indianapolis before marrying Jack Shedron in January 4th, 1958. They lived in Brownsburg before moving to Stilesville and finally to their farm outside of Cloverdale in where they raised 3 children and resided for 60 years.

Jo was active in the community serving on various, boards & committees. She was on the Putnam County 4-H Fair Board, Cloverdale Community School Board, Cloverdale Community Housing and most recently the Cataract Water Board. Through the years she and Jack were often at wrestling matches & football games in the early 1980s and then football, soccer, volleyball, softball, cross country and basketball supporting the grandchildren. She and Jack enjoyed traveling on their motorcycle and then in their RV, They traveled both on their own, with their motorcycle friends and GM co-workers and their camping club friends. Highlights being several trips South Dakota for the annual Buffalo Round Up, the Rose Bowl Parade and various State Parks around the state.

She is predeceased by her parents, husband, Jack and sister, Jackie.

She is survived by daughters Teri (Robert) Fry of Charlestown, IN and Jeri (Terry) Carter of Pittsboro., son Tod(Mendy) Shedron of Cloverdale. 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.

Numerous Nephews and Nieces

Cremation was chosen and graveside services will be held Monday, July 22nd, 2024 at 10:00am, Zion Cemetery, 3005 N. Bowling Green Poland Rd., Poland, IN 47868.

If desired, donations can be made to Cloverdale Wrestling Program in her memory.
