It took me a while to find these photos to share from the early 1980s when Julie and I were very close friends. I lived in Venice, CA and had 4th of July parties there for several years which Julie always attended. For my 30th birthday, Julie helped me set up the house and added special outdoor lighting for me. We lost touch for many years and then reconnected in the late 90s and by then her name was Julia. But she will always be the beautiful, loving, selfless Julie to me. RIP

We went to Woodward together.
We played Cats Cradle together.
When I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016 she was so tremendously helpful.
I miss her.

Julia was an amazing talent. She was a strong woman with a singular voice. Through the years of working together or bumping into each other at ADG events, we would always have a laugh. I know her journey onward will be beautiful. Knowing that she fought for 12 years shows a strength of character and fortitude unsurpassed. Peaceful journey Julia.

Dearest One
Your beautiful mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend....was an amazing woman. I had the pleasure to spend a few lovely evenings with her over the years as the older sister of her dear college friend, Rhyan Zweifler. I´m so glad I got to know her. I´m so sad to lose her. I am holding you all
in the light. May her memory be a blessing. Rest in Peace dear Julie.

I am so sorry to hear of Julia's passing. She was a co-worker of mine in Set Design but I had lost touch with her after I left the business and the state of CA. I will always remember her gorgeous drawings, amazing skill and generous spirit. She was a wonderful, talented and gracious soul and was much fun to work with, too. My deepest condolences go to her family members, friends, husband and son.

Julia was one of the first advocates I ever met, and she was a huge inspiration to me. The photo is from the ILC Symposium in Leuven, Belgium, September 2024. Dinner with the lobmob xxx

I will always be grateful to Julia for being so loving to my daughter Remy. Like my daughter all of my family thought of Julia as family. That will never change.
