Dear Robert & Family,
I remember the summer (1961??) I got to stay with Aunt Lorene and Uncle Tom when they lived in Oceanside, Ca. That was a very long time ago... but I remember meeting Aunt Julie and how much fun we all had that summer! Aunt Julie was a teenager and what a pretty girl she was... the marines would whistle... at first I thought they were whistling at ME, but no... they were whistling at my Aunt Julie! ha.. Julie would blush and we all would laugh and laugh and laugh.... What a fun summer that was!! I remember also the summer I took my son, Mike to Georgia for the first time and how much fun him and I had hanging out with Uncle Robert and Aunt Julie. I will forever cherish all of the memories that I have of my Aunt Julie!! My thoughts and prayers are with you all!!
Love,

Dear Uncle Robert and family, I wish I would have known Aunt Julie better. My sisters Cookie, Patti, and Tootie told me how wonderful she was. I met Aunt Julie only a few times. Remember when you both stayed at our house here in California? You brought us "green peanuts"! That is the day I remember Aunt Julie. So sweet! Our prayers are with you Uncle Robert and your family! God Bless! Love Donna (Jimmy's daughter!)

Aunt Julie was loved by many. The good thing now is Aunt Julie is with the Lord and in a better place then the world we live in today. She will never be forgotten. I am sorry that I could not be with the family in this time of need. I will keep everyone in my prays. Tears of sadness will turn to laughter and smiles in the memoires and good times we had with Aunt Julie.
Love Christy and family.

To the Perkins family,
I was so sorry to hear about Sister Julie's death. But for her it was not a death but a life now with her maker. I want to let you know what she meant to me. When I was 16 we attended the same church and she was an inspiration and a mentor to me. She was such a wonderful Christian lady and I enjoyed seeing her every Sunday morning. I was baptized in yall's pool. I know that now she is singing with the angels in heaven and rejoicing with the Lord. She was truly a wonderful lady.

Sis. Julia was a great christian woman. She showed so many people the love of God. She was an inspiration to me. I sat many Sunday mornings in her Sunday School class and I learned so many great lessons from her. I hope when it comes my time to go that people can say some of the same things about me that was said about her life. I would love for my life to be a witness for our Lord Jesus Christ just as Sis. Juila's has been. Mr. Robert, Tammy, Robin, and the rest of the family, I know that you will miss Sis. Juilia, but remember that we will be reunited with her again. I send you all my love and prayers.

Dear Uncle Robert; Tammi & Kelli and Robert and all your family. Aunt Julie will always be remembered and loved. Aunt Julie was a very special person. Very loving, caring and genuine. Just know that we never really lose them; for we will join them again on a joyous day when we reach heaven. God promised us that if we live right and serve him that we too will have eternal life. I know that Aunt Julie would want to leave this message for her whole family. Make sure your life is right with God, so we all can be together again. I love you all and at the same time, my heart aches and I am so happy too for I know Aunt Julie is in a better place and waiting for us. Love Lanette and all her children, grand-children. We Love You All So Much!

Robert,
I have so many loving and wonderful memories of spending time with you and Julie there in your home. I can't really express to you how I feel because I feel the lost too because I also loved her very much. I just know the last time that I was there at your house her and I talked about going home and she said when He calls I am ready. Just know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Robert,
We are so sorry for your loss. Sister Julie was such an inspiration to so many people. I know she is at the feet of Jesus right now. I wanted to share this poem with you. (And let you know you and your family are in our prayers)
The Broken Chain
We little knew that morning that God
Was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone;
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
Your love is still our guide;
And though we can not see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same;
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.
God Bless
The Baker Family
