Julia Reynolds

PITSFORD - Julia "Judi" (Murphy) Reynolds, 79, passed away peacefully on June 13th at The Respite House in Williston, VT, after battling cancer for 5 years.
Born in Washingtonville, NY, on April 29, 1937, to Tim and Helen (Weed) Murphy, she was the first of six children.
Judi served as librarian at McClure Library in Pittsford for 28 years.
She loved knitting, walking, reading and visiting the sick as a deacon for her church. She volunteered for hospice and at the Rutland Hospital where she was a courier for 11 years. Her faith in God helped her throughout her life, and her church was very important to her.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Fred Reynolds of Pittsford; three children Debi Gray and her husband, Mike, Bernie and his wife, Debbie (Kallen) Reynolds and Michael Reynolds and lifelong companion, Connie Forrest; her grandchildren, Colby Reynolds, Hunter Reynolds, Heath Farnsworth and his wife, Erica, Jason Gray, Bethany Huckins and her husband, Jason, Adam Gray and his wife, Maura; 7 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
One sister, Joan Menard of Randolph, and two brothers Tim Murphy and wife, Lorraine, of Cottonwood, AZ, and John Murphy and wife, Marjorie, of Sandy, Utah, also survive her.
She is predeceased by her parents, one sister, one brother and a grandchild, Shawn.
There will be no calling hours.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 17, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. at the Pittsford Congregational Church in Pittsford, followed by a reception at the church Fellowship Hall.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Pittsford.
