I feel great pleasure to have met Julia at the Timbers. As an employee, I have loved seeing her every night when I came in to put her to bed. She cherished her family and would often reflect on the memories, we would laugh and have great conversations. She was a WONDERFUL woman who was always so happy and positive. She will be greatly missed! My thoughts and prayers goes out to her family. Julia is forever in my heart!

I worked with your father, Art, at the Joliet Arsenal communication center many years ago. I met your mother at picnics that were held on the arsenal grounds. Both of your parents were class acts. Family came first. My prayers for comfort go out to your family on the loss of your mother.

Grandma to all whom had the pleasure of sharing a part of their life with her. As my daughter says the world just seems darker today because we have lost one of the angels from here on earth. We will miss your presence greatly.

So many memories from days spent with Grandma at her house on Green St. in New Lenox... As kids, playing in the backyard, sledding down the big hill in the winter, picking grapes in the summer, making drobi in the basement, helping in the garden. Then later in life, just sitting and talking, looking through family albums, or occasionally pulling out old 8mm movies.
Family was always first priority for Grandma - loving everyone, judging no one, and just always being there. She will be missed greatly by all.

Grandma to many sums it up beautifully! She certainly was that! Always had a smile,a kind word, a helping hand. In the years our daughters were growing up with "the Hermann boys", I probably saw her almost daily. She was a wonderful woman and greatly loved by many.
We are flying home on Wednesday but will not arrive early enough to attend the memorial service.
