Julia Stringer Obituary
Julia was born September 26, 1933, in Bowie County, Texas, to R.V. and Clyde Lamb. She was retired from Bowie Cass Coop, was a member of First Baptist Church in Queen City, Texas, and loved gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Ray Stringer; two sons, Michael Stringer and David Stringer; and a brother, Robert Lamb.
She is survived by three sons, Paul Stringer and wife, Toni, of Atlanta, Texas, Ronald Stringer and wife, Carla, of Longview, Texas, and Jody Stringer of Atlanta, Texas; eight grandchildren, Jared Stringer and wife, Jennifer, Kyli Kaye Caver and husband, Chris, Jason Stringer and wife, Dawn, Elisa Stringer, Keli Stringer, Kirk Stringer, Michael Stringer and wife, Mandi, and Mark Stringer and wife, Holli; 10 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at Hanner Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Billy Dupree and Bro. Andy McFarlin officiating. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today, November 4, 2013, at Hanner Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Queen City, Building Fund.
