Julia was a beautiful and a intelligent woman. I'm glad I had the chance to meet her. Julia had a presence like no other and will never be forgotten.

May you rest in peace Julie. The last messages between us were along the lines of I miss you, and now I forever will. Thank you for stepping up and being a parent to me when all of my sources fell short. Foster care wasn't such a bad time, having you next door to run to. Everyone knew you for your compassion and your huge heart, and that's the biggest impression you have left on me. Thank you for all of your love. Thank you for providing your couch and your shoulder, and for all your delicious dinners. A woman came into my work a few nights ago and I could've sworn it was you; beautiful, spontaneous personality, and she figured I had a staring problem considering I just couldn't stop looking. Another woman came in and signed her name with "Jules". from the bottom to the top of my heart, my love goes out to your mom dad sister Brandon Dakota and many more. Though I considered you family, i feel for them a little more. May your graciousness continue to live in this place, and may the family be blessed with healing. Loving you always.

My deepest sympathy goes out to all family and friends hurting from Julia's passing. Although she is in a safe and beautiful place now beyond our imagination, her physical presence will be greatly missed. My husband and I worked with Julia for many years. She could always make me laugh. I notice so many reminders of Julia at the Wynn. I will smile when I think of her. I will continue to light candles in her honor ...and pray for her family and beautiful daughter Dakota.

I'm so sad someone so young, vivacious and downright beautiful has passed away. I cannot imagine what mom, dad, grandma and EVERYONE who loved Julie - are feeling. It will take time and patience to work through this tragic time but my hope is everyone will. I remember most the little girl who loved going to the movies and then falling asleep before they were over. She was so funny and hip beyond her years! Truly a sudden, unexpected loss but I'm sure everyone will remember those precious qualities she had that will ALWAYS be worth celebrating.

Our family is so saddened by the news of Julie's passing. We knew Julie, Brandon, and Dakota for the past few years and have spent quality time with them in both of our households - from dinners to birthdays to crafting Build a Greener Block sponsor gifts. Although we are still grappling with this reality, we would like to send out our love to her, her family, Brandon, his family, and their beautiful daughter. There is no way that we could ever know what the families and Dakota are all going through or will go through, but we will be there when we are needed to help them in anyway that we can.

I only got to meet you at the recent Christmas party at the Melvin's but I could tell from talking with you that you're as beautiful on the inside as on the outside. My deepest & most sincere condolences to the families of Julia. Julia & I danced together for years in high school. We were the proudly named "Gallo Girls". She was always one of the most beautiful women I've ever known. 10 years plus after high school she would still pass through my mind whenever I thought of other fellow Native American women I knew.
