In memory of
Linda Bartlett Lentell
October 14, 2019
Arkansas City, Kansas was a great place to grow up. From before kindergarten through 9th grade, I was blessed to live in this wonderful little town that I always profess "raised me". Julie and I were close friends, and shared memorable adventures during those years before I moved away.
Julie was an important influence in my young life. She was my earliest role model, my trusted advisor, and a fun collaborator, e.g. the "Swan Club" formed for our friends, our dazzling Baked Alaska for Home Ec., and so much more.
The Julie I knew was very kind, fair-minded, and wise beyond her years. Julie's birthday would have been yesterday.
I remember Julie's mother and father would always host the most fun-filled birthday parties for Julie, and her siblings. I recall the big old Bryant home, so full of life and laughter, and the recollections are all intertwined with my best Ark City memories.
I was informed of Julie's passing in NYC, just one day ago, in a chance encounter. Although it makes me profoundly sad to know, it allows me the opportunity to express my loving thoughts to Mr.Hauser, Amy & Children, and all family and friends.
I will always love and treasure my memories of my very dear childhood friend, Julie.

Julie was a good friend from 2nd grade through High school and one of the nicest people I have known. Shenis in a better place, now and I hope to see her there when I get there. Rest in peace, Julie.

The last time I saw Julie was at our high school graduation, but I have fond memories of her all these years later. She was one of the sweetest persons I've ever met. And she was smart, beautiful, funny and just fun to be around. My deepest sympathies to her family and all the others who loved her.

My sincere condolences to Julie's family, at this sad time! Julie was a really sweet girl all through our growing up years. She was beautiful, lots of fun, very smart and talented, popular, and our senior year at ACHS, Julie was our Football Homecoming Queen!!! The ACHS Class of 1965 will miss Julie!!! We will remember all of our good times together, with Julie, growing up, in Arkansas City!!! Those were wonderful years! Rest in peace now dear Julie♥
