Romans 8:38-39

For I am convinced that neither death nor life. neither angels nor demons

neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth,

nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God.

that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Fiancé, daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt, cousin & friend. Julie went to be with the Lord our God on Wednesday January 18,2023.

Julie was born in Newport California April 6, 1969, to Merle and Janice Davis. Julie was the second (middle) child in the family. The family moved to Newman California in 1976 where she attended school and graduated High school in 1987. Following high school Julie worked to support herself while attending Humphrey's Business College in Stockton and Modesto Junior College in Modesto.

She obtained her Real Estate License and her career started in banking and finance business in 1991 with a focus in wholesale mortgage lending. Eventually moving to Modesto, Julie obtained her Mortgage Brokers license and opened her first business, Union Street Mortgage, a small and very successful retail mortgage office. Julie met the love of her life, Chad Pometta, in 2001 and started the next chapter of her life by building yet another very successful business, Union Street Realty, when they moved to Diablo Grande, Patterson, CA in 2006. Julies' real estate career spanned a total of 33 years making many amazing friendships along the way. She was also a successful Real Estate investor. Julie always had a sense of justice, she worked as an assistant to a local attorney in a court case that involved a mortgage fraud resulting in a successful conviction. Julie was a lifelong political conservative. She had a burning passion for politics and her favorite President Donald J. Trump, the 45th President of the United States of America. In 2022 Julie was appointed President to the Western Hills Water District by the Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors. Julies' political passion fueled her to make great progress for her community, she was tenacious in her investigations and fact-finding missions. She could understand real estate law and transactions in such detail, her out of the box thinking kept the best attorneys on their toes. Julie was appreciated and loved by those in her community and beyond. Julie had a great many interests; however, nothing came close to her love for Chad and her beloved dog Cookie, the three were inseparable. Julie loved to care for and walk Cookie as well as cooking for Chad. Julie enjoyed traveling, golfing, working out, laying out by the pool and shopping for clothes online. Julie loved to spend time with her parents as well as watching I love Lucy episodes. Julie had many long-term friends she also loved spending time with and shared many fun antics over the years. Julie always saw the best in people, had a tender heart, was humble and material things meant little to her. Julie will be forever in our soul and forever greatly loved.

Julie is preceded in death by her Paternal grandparents, Clarence and Georgia Davis as well as her maternal grandparents, Lawrence "Larry" and Fern Atwood. Julie is survived by her Fiancé, Chad Pometta, her parents, Merle and Janice Davis, her brothers, Perry and Paul Davis, her nephews Jacob, Jeremy and Andrew Davis, Nieces, Sara Sebastian and Brianna Davis, and her great niece Leah Sebastian.

Dave and I met Julie when she joined our health club Intersport. She was such a joy to train and so funny. We missed seeing her but heard great things about her accomplishments. When we read about Julie our hearts broke. What a great and loving person to lose all to soon. May you rest in peace Julie. You will be greatly missed. Our condolences to all her family and friends. May God help all of you through this very sad and heartbreaking time.

Julie was my first acquaintance in DG. Funny, quick-witted and gregarious, as my realtor she made what could have been a stressful home purchase an enjoyable experience. I always valued our chats about the country and her huge infectious laugh could bring a smile to your face no matter what the circumstance. She was just a fun person to be around. I also had the chance to serve with her on the WHWD Board of Directors. I will always think fondly of her and remember her kindness and generosity. She will be truly missed by me and my entire family.

Met Julie as she helped my father purchase a home in Diablo Grande.

She made quite the impression as a businesswoman. Driven. Smart. Real. She was always fun to talk to. I always enjoyed our chats as she made her rounds with Cookie.

She cared deeply about Diablo Grande, knew it had so much potential, and was frustrated by the third class entities and individuals holding it back. Angels Crossing? Hah. Hokey Meadows is more like it.

Her work with the Western Hills Water District set the strategy that will ultimately benefit the entire Diablo Grande community -- something many will never figure out or appreciate. The district's recent victory in court is all you, Julie. Great job!

Julie, my father Matt and I are saddened by your passing as we still struggle to accept that you're gone.

You were truly the Mayor of Diablo Grande. Working for the benefit of every citizen on their behalf -- even if so many weren't grateful for it.

May you and Cookie rest in piece as we extend our deepest condolences to your loved ones. You were such a special woman and the world is a lesser place without you.

My family met Julie when we were buying our homes in DG. I also worked directly with her on the WHWD Board of Directors. Our family will always remember Julie as out going, fun, and humorous at times. Her laughter was contagious. Most of all our family will always remember Julie as the fighter that she was. Although we lost touch after high school, I still thought of Julie as a dear friend. So many wonderful memories of times spent at her home on Villa Manucha, listening to music, laying out in her backyard. I wish I had taken the time to reconnect with her. My thoughts and heartfelt prayers to the Davis Family and to Chad. She was a lovely person and trusted friend to me all through school...

We met Julie when we purchased our home in DG in 2015. Over the years we became close and we had the mutual love for pets, the DG community and sharing stories and memories. We are deeply saddened to have lost our dear friend Julie. Her laugh was contagious and will always have the respect and admiration for her tenacity and being an advocate for our community. I know that Julie and Cookie are together again and I feel comfort in that. You are forever in our hearts, I deeply miss you.

I met Julie when we both moved up to DG about 17 yrs ago. We always had great conversations and had so much in common. We got closer, especially the last year through our chats. We cried together a lot since Cookies passing and with my kitty gone as well. At the same time, we gave each other hope. I truly miss you Julie. I'll always cherish fond memories with you. Until I see you up there. May you RIP
