Julie Ann Himber Fowler

I was so saddened to learn of Julie's passing. She was committed to her family and students and touched the lives of many. Some of my students moved into her class at Florida Avenue Elementary when they aged up and I always knew they would be well loved, cared for and challenged to succeed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends, that faith and memories will bring comfort at this time of loss.

I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Julie. Our families have been friends with the family for three generations. My Mother and Miss Pat were best friends and I attended Slidell Jr. High with Julie. Our daughters were friends too. I send love and hugs to all of her family. Julie was always a fun person and a great teacher. She will be missed by many.

Our deepest condolences from the Gougis family. Ms. Julie was a bright light to everyone, especially to me as the girls were growing up through Abney, STJH and Salmen. I really enjoyed working with Ms. Fowler for many years. She definitely was a gift to every child she worked with! Praying for the entire family. Although she is at peace, she will be missed.

I will forever whole you in my heart my dear friend. You were on light in my darkest days and you brought so much joy to everyone who knew you. Until we meet again fly high and continue to watch over all of those that you love.
